Pete Hathaway joined the HonorHealth board in 2009 through the John C. Lincoln Health Network. He has served as the Audit and Compliance Committee chair since 2013. He also serves on the Executive and Compensation Committee and the Finance Committee. Pete was a past member of the Information Technology Committee. He retired from JDA Software, Inc. in 2013 where he served as the chief financial officer for four years. Prior to JDA, Pete served for six years as the CFO of Allied Waste Services (now Republic Services). For eight years prior to this, he held a variety of finance and accounting roles. Prior to Allied he also worked in the solid waste industry in Italy for Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. Pete started his career in 1979 with the public accounting firm Arthur Andersen & Co. and served as a certified public accountant in the audit and attest division for 11 years. In addition to HonorHealth, Pete serves on the board of directors of Societal Innovations Holdings, Inc., which designs and develops software for distributed computing and the internet-of-things. He is also an advisory board member of D&L Communications, Inc., which provides compliant displays for the healthcare industry. Pete and his wife enjoy living in Scottsdale, Arizona, in the winter and Telluride, Colorado, in the summer. He is active in the outdoor community in each location, indulging in photography, skiing, backpacking, canyoneering, mountain biking and fly fishing.
