Camelia Rubalcada

Camelia Rubalcada serves as the Dean of Student Success at Hood College since August 2023. Prior to this role, Camelia was the Associate Dean for Student Success at Luther College from March 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included leadership in student success initiatives and retention efforts. Previous positions include Director of TRiO Student Support Services at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and Student Success Advisor at Georgia Gwinnett College. Camelia holds a Master's degree in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs from the University of Northern Iowa and a Bachelor's degree in Interdepartmental Business Studies from the University of Iowa, complemented by an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Kirkwood Community College.
