Alex Johnson

Alex Johnson serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Virridy, focusing on climate-finance watershed restoration programs. Concurrently, Alex holds the position of Mortenson Fellow at the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering & Resilience, collaborating with a diverse network on ecological and climate research. Additionally, Alex is a Planning Commissioner for Hood River County, a Senior Fellow at ALF Oregon, and a managing member of Stevens Family Farms, LLC. Alex has extensive experience in freshwater conservation as a former Vice President and Freshwater Fund Director at The Freshwater Trust. Educational background includes a BS in Economics from Duke University and studies at University College Dublin.
