Megan Ramey

Megan Ramey is an accomplished professional with a strong background in transportation, sustainability, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Safe Routes to School Manager for Hood River County School District and an Active Transportation Stakeholder for the Oregon Department of Transportation, Megan focuses on promoting safe and environmentally friendly travel options for students. As the Founder and Chief Bike Traveler at BIKABOUT, Megan inspires two-wheeled tourism across North America. Past roles include serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Hood River, a Mountain Administrator at Mt. Hood Meadows Resort, and various advisory capacities related to bike safety and sustainability in cities such as Cambridge and Boston. Megan holds an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business and a BS in Fashion Marketing and Mathematics from The University of Georgia.
