Anne Rutgrink

Anne Rutgrink is an experienced water quality policy officer at Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard since May 2019, focusing on hydrobiological monitoring. Previously, Anne held various roles within the Waterschapstalent Traineeship, including positions at Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland and Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier, where monitoring studies on plastic pollution and effluent water effects were conducted. Additional experience includes personal support for individuals with intellectual disabilities and research roles at Naturalis Biodiversity Center Nederland and the Universiteit van Amsterdam, involving ecological studies and genetic variations. Anne earned a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolution and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, both from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
