Adnan Mahmud

Adnan Mahmud is an accomplished technology leader serving as the Director and Head of Enterprise Architecture and Dev/Sec/Ops at HOOKIPA Pharma Inc. since December 2023. Additionally, Adnan contributes as a judge for the DASA DevOps Agile Skills Association Awards since 2023. Previously, Adnan held the position of Director DevOps and Lead of DevOps at Paysafe Group from April 2016 to December 2023, where responsibilities included managing IT operations, leading large-scale application migrations to multi-cloud and container platforms, and implementing DevSecOps practices. Early career experiences include roles as Systems Engineer at next layer Telekommunikationsdienstleistungs- und Beratungs GmbH and as a freelance consultant focused on VOIP solutions. Adnan holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Engineering in Information Security, an MBA in IT Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Systems and Services, along with a Chief Technology Officer Program certification.
