Josh Dague

Josh Dague is an experienced technology leader and engineer with a robust background in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Hoop since 2023, Dague previously held the position of VP Engineering at Wefunder, where contributions included enhancing team practices and overall product velocity. At Casetext, Dague was instrumental in leading the engineering team through significant company pivots, achieving full engineer retention, and driving the development of advanced legal research tools. Earlier career roles included software engineer at Zipscene and user interface engineer at Vitrue, in addition to founding Admissible, a startup focused on marketing and CRM solutions for collegiate admissions. Dague's foundational experience includes a tenure as a software developer at the University of Cincinnati, coupled with a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Media from the same institution.
