Alvin K. Yau

Alvin K. Yau is a Legal Counsel at HOOPP (Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan) since August 2021, previously serving as Associate Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate and Articling Student at WeirFoulds LLP from August 2018 to August 2021, and a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law from October 2017 to August 2018. Earlier, Alvin worked as a Summer Student at WeirFoulds LLP and held positions at Scotiabank as a Derivative Products Legal Analyst and Loan Officer from May 2012 to August 2016. Additionally, a Research and Communication Assistant at The David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights from September 2015 to March 2016. Alvin holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Toronto (2015-2018) and an Hons. BBA in Economics and International Business from the Schulich School of Business at York University (2011-2015).
