Blair Stransky

Blair Stransky has a diverse work experience in government relations, public affairs, and communications. They began their career at Fleishman Hillard, where they advanced to the position of Associate Vice President. They advised clients on policy trends, advocacy efforts, and corporate plans. They also managed client accounts and budgets. At the Ontario Ministry of Finance, Blair served as a Senior Policy Advisor, where they provided advice on regulatory and stakeholder-related issues. They also oversaw relationships with key provincial agencies and delivered policy briefings to inform government decisions. They then joined the Ontario Securities Commission as Manager of Communications and Public Affairs, where they advised the Chair and executive leadership on reputation risks and opportunities. Currently, Blair is at HOOPP, where they have held roles as Assistant Vice President of Government Relations and Assistant Vice President of Government & Public Affairs. In these positions, they led teams in developing relationships with governments, managing reputation risks, and supporting policy and regulatory issues. They also focused on raising awareness of HOOPP's value and mission through research reports, surveys, and events.

Blair Stransky holds an Honours BA in Political Studies from Queen's University. In addition, Blair has obtained a MSc in Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
