Iyana L.

Iyana L. is a dedicated professional educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at HOPE Christian Schools since July 2022. With a strong commitment to fostering a supportive and adaptive learning environment, Iyana aims to help all students achieve success. Previous experiences include mentoring at the Center for Urban Teaching, where coaching facilitated skills for effective teaching, and serving as a Social Services Assistant with Milwaukee County to connect individuals with community resources. Iyana has also engaged in public service as a Public Ally to promote social justice and equity. Earlier roles included an internship at Pivedite and an Operations Manager position at Rink Side Sports and Family Entertainment Center, where significant event planning and customer engagement skills were developed. Iyana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from National Louis University, earned in 2021.
