Carmen Bustamante is an experienced community organizer with a focus on sexual health education and youth mentorship. Currently serving as a Parks and Power Organizer at Hope Community, Inc. since June 2021, Carmen previously worked as a Sexual Health Educator with CLUES and as a Volunteer Coordinator for the Adriana4Schools Campaign. Carmen's extensive background includes coordinating youth programs at Centro Tyrone Guzman, conducting research on healthcare barriers for marginalized communities at The Red Door Clinic, and facilitating educational discussions at Casa de Esperanza. Carmen holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Macalester College and has participated in public health and community empowerment programs in Chile.
