Pierce Hastings

Pierce Hastings is a dedicated professional with experience in nonprofit management and community organizing. Currently serving as a Parks and Power Organizer at Hope Community, Inc. since September 2022, Pierce focuses on advocating for racial, gender, and economic justice within the Minneapolis Parks system. Previous roles include an Administrative Intern at Community Bridge, where skills in nonprofit operations and program oversight were developed, and an Instacart Shopper, which honed customer relations skills. Additional experience includes internships with The Tretter Transgender Oral History Project and The Advoc, where Pierce engaged in research, interview techniques, and support for asylum clients. Pierce holds a degree in International Studies with a focus on Human Rights and Humanitarianism, Theater, and Spanish from Macalester College.
