Gideon Maniragaba

Gideon Maniragaba currently serves as a Non Executive Director at SMEP Microfinance Bank PLC since October 2023 and as Associate Regional Director for Anglophone Africa at HOPE International since August 2023. Prior to these roles, Gideon held the position of Managing Director at Turame Community Finance S.A from August 2016 to July 2023 and served as Director of Operations at HOPE International from February 2014 to August 2016. Gideon’s experience includes working as Operations Manager at Five Talents UK from August 2010 to January 2014 and as Business Growth & Development Manager at Equity Bank Limited from July 2007 to July 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Makerere University, executive education in Business Administration from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Kyambogo University.
