Mike Mowry

Mike Mowry is the Director of Member Success at Hope & Main. Mike has also worked as the Co-Owner and Coffee Quality Coordinator at Equal Exchange, and as a Wood Pawcatuck Watershed Association.

Mike has been in their current position since February of 2022, and prior to that they were with Equal Exchange for 15 years. In their role at Hope & Main, Mike is responsible for supporting and growing the membership base, as well as executing member events and communicating member benefits. Mike also oversees the organization's social media presence.

Before Hope & Main, Mike was instrumental in developing and maintaining all systems for monitoring and improving the quality of Equal Exchange's coffee products. Mike also designed, implemented, and maintained the quality module for their Enterprise Resource Management system. Through training and education on coffee products and processes, Mike empowered staff, customers and the industry at large.

Mike is passionate about coffee and supporting local businesses, and they are excited to be a part of Hope & Main's mission to provide a space for food entrepreneurs to thrive.

Mike Mowry completed a Bachelor of Science in Sociology at Appalachian State University. Mike has also completed certification from Microsoft in DAT207x: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, Specialty Coffee Association in Coffee Taster Level 1 Certificate, NOLS in Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid, Specialty Coffee Association in Barista Level 1 Certificate, Specialty Coffee Association in Lead Instructor Certificate, American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in First Aid CPR AED, and Coffee Quality Institute in Licensed Q Grader.

They work with Luca Carnevale - Executive Director of Operations, Alison Mountford - Market & Pop-Up Coordinator, and Marilyn Mathison - Bookkeeper. Mike Mowry reports to Lisa Raiola, Founder & President.
