Tim Becker

Tim Becker is the current Chief Operating Officer at Hope Network. Tim has held this position for 6 years and 1 month, and is responsible for the operations of statewide behavioral health programs, neuro-rehabilitation, Michigan Education Corps, Hope Network Industries, transportation, workforce development, Recovery Services, Autism, and human resources. Additionally, they serve as a member of Hope Network's leadership team on healthcare. Prior to their current role, Becker was the Chief Deputy Director for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, where they oversaw the department's health and human services delivery including population health, behavioral health, Medicaid, aging services, children's services, field and central operations. Becker has also held positions as the Senior Deputy Director - Operations Administration, Accounting and Financial Reporting Director, and Accounting Director for the Michigan Department of Community Health. In these roles, they were responsible for administering budget, grants, purchasing, audit, and accounting for the department. Additionally, they served as the Accounting and Financial Reporting Director for the State of Michigan's Office of Financial Management where they were responsible for statewide financial reporting and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles. Becker began their career as a Liaison Accountant for the Office of Financial Management before being promoted to Manager and then Senior Policy Executive.

Tim Becker has a Master of Business Administration from Cornerstone University and a B.S from Central Michigan University. Tim is also a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Illinois.
