Lpcc Kristine Hansen

Kristine Hansen, LPCC has extensive experience in the field of clinical counseling. Kristine is currently working as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at HOPE Program, a position they have held since November 2022. Previously, in 2022, they served as the Chief of Clinical Programs at Pajaro Valley Prevention and Student Assistance, Inc.

From 2018 to 2022, Kristine held multiple roles at HOPE Program. Kristine started as a Clinician in October 2018 and later became a Clinical Supervisor in January 2020. In January 2021, they were promoted to the position of Clinical Director.

Before joining HOPE Program, Kristine worked as a Clinician at Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc. from 2015 to 2018. Kristine provided individual, group, and family therapy to male adolescents between the ages of 11 and 21, some of whom had sexual behavior problems.

Prior to that, they worked as a Staff Therapist at South Bay Mental Health Center from 2014 to 2015 and as a Counseling Intern at The College of Saint Rose in 2013.

Kristine Hansen, LPCC earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from San Diego State University from 2008-2012. Kristine then pursued a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor at the University at Albany, SUNY from 2012-2013. Additionally, Kristine obtained a certification in Motivational Interviewing from athealth.com in April 2013.
