Mayreny Perez has extensive experience in behavioral and educational support roles, currently serving as a 1:1 ABA Teacher at Hopeful Journeys Educational Center since May 2019. Prior to this position, Mayreny worked as an Activities Assistant at Twin Oaks Health and Rehabilitation, focusing on engaging the geriatric population in various activities. Earlier experience includes a role as a Behavioral Support Staff at The REC Center, where Mayreny provided one-on-one support to children with autism through Applied Behavior Analysis. Mayreny holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Salem State University and a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Bay Path University.

Hopeful Journeys’ mission is to provide quality and individualized education to children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. We strive to build better futures for children and families by helping them to reach their fullest potential and enabling them to live more productive and independent lives. Hopeful Journeys is designed to meet the individualized academic, social, vocational, and behavioral needs of children ages 3-22. Students who attend the Hopeful Journeys program require an individualized and highly structured environment throughout their day and across all activities that utilizes a teaching methodology based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Hopeful Journeys provides a consistent and continuous 216 day academic school year.
