Lisa Carpenter

Lisa Carpenter is a seasoned professional in strategy and impact, currently serving as a Partner and Head of Strategy at Impact Giving Advisors since November 2021. Prior to this role, Lisa has held significant positions including Strategic Advisor at Hopelab, and Head of Strategy, Learning and Impact at Humanity United, where accomplishments included restructuring $20 million in annual program investments. Lisa's extensive experience at Gap Inc. spanned over a decade, with roles such as Senior Director of Strategy and Performance and Director of Strategy and Communications, where contributions included leading sustainability efforts and a major strategic planning process. Earlier experience includes project leadership at The Boston Consulting Group, managing investment strategies at Cambridge Associates, and initiating projects as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Lisa holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Sociology and Spanish from Colby College.
