Jason Masching has over two decades of diverse experience in training, program management, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Foster Parent Trainer and Recruiter at HopeTree Family Services since December 2012, Jason focuses on promoting foster parenting, providing essential training, and supporting current and past foster parents. Additional roles include Program Director for HopeTree Glory Road, where Jason oversees long-term residential care for at-risk female youth. Jason also operates as Property Manager and Building Technician for Yo! Joe Handyman Service, alongside training roles with the American Red Cross. Previous experience includes program coordination at Alta Mons, maintenance technician tasks, and youth leadership in several educational and camp settings. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Greensboro College.

HopeTree Family Services (formerly Virginia Baptist Children's Home & Family Services) offers a wide range of ministries for at-risk children and youth and their families. We also serve the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. Our main campus is in Salem, VA. We also have Foster Care offices in Salem, Martinsville, Richmond and Chester, as well as DDM homes across the state.
