Omid Jamei-Martel

Omid Jamei-Martel is a skilled surgeon with extensive experience in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. Currently serving as a Chirurgien at hôpital fribourgeois (HFR) since November 2022, Jamei-Martel previously held the positions of MD, Chief Resident in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery at Hôpital du Valais from November 2020 to October 2022, and in the same role at HFR from November 2018 to October 2020. The surgical training began as a Surgical Resident in orthopaedic and trauma surgery at Hôpital du Valais and in various departments, including the Intensive Care Unit and Visceral Surgery at HUG from May 2014 to April 2016. The foundational surgical residency took place at CHUV from November 2011 to April 2014, covering specialties such as Hand Surgery, Heart Surgery, and Pediatric Surgery. Omid Jamei-Martel holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Geneva.
