Ellen McKissock is a distinguished attorney and Shareholder at Hopkins & Carley, where Ellen chairs the Trust & Estate Litigation Practice Group since August 2002. As a Fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel since 2017, Ellen actively contributes to the field. Ellen has served as Editor-in-Chief of TexComm's Quarterly, a leading legal journal, while previously holding the presidency of the Silicon Valley Bar Association. As the founder and pro bono counsel of the Charter School of Morgan Hill, Ellen demonstrates a commitment to education. Ellen's legal career began at Booth, Mitchel, Strange & Smith and later continued at Thelen, Marin, Johnson & Bridges before providing outside counsel to Silicon Valley Power during electric deregulation. Ellen holds a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a BA in Political Science & Journalism with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
