Kate Forsythe is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and writing. Currently serving as an ELL Teacher and Writing Center Director at Hopkinton School District since September 2015, Forsythe has also worked as a freelance copywriter since April 2014. Previous roles include English Teacher at Hopkinton Public Schools from August 2009 to January 2017, and various teaching positions at Cambridge Adventure Day Camp and Cambridge Public Schools. Involved in the B-SAFE Summer Program, Forsythe addressed educational disparities for underprivileged students. Additional experience includes advocacy work at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. and early teaching roles at Claudia's Dance Studio. Forsythe holds a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
