Jasmine Joung

Jasmine Joung is currently a Principal Data Scientist at Hopper, a position held since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer and Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon from June 2020 to February 2024, and a Data Analyst at Facebook from May 2019 to May 2020. Jasmine also served as a Data Fellow at Delta Analytics, analyzing data for the social service non-profit GLIDE and developing insights to enhance client services. Experience at Charles River Associates as an Associate involved investigating the economic impacts of anti-competitive behaviors and conducting data audits. Earlier roles include an internship at the City of Philadelphia, where survey analysis was performed to evaluate emergency food providers, and work with the U.S. Department of Commerce to refine definitions related to the sharing economy. Jasmine Joung holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Public Policy Studies from the University of Chicago.
