Giridhar Sampathkumar

Giridhar Sampathkumar has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. Giridhar started their career at Spritle Software as a Ruby-on-Rails Programmer. In 2011, they joined SwarmIQ Inc as a Lead Engineer and Founding Team member, where they designed the UI/UX of the web-based personalized news reader, SwarmIQ and developed the complete front-end using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Giridhar also implemented HTML5 web workers to greatly improve client-side performance. In 2015, they joined DiscountSignal Inc as a Founding Engineer and Lead Ruby-on-Rails developer, where they architected the front-end and back-end of the loyalty and rewards program and designed the User Interface for the app, using HTML, CSS, Javascript, Android Java, and Objective-C. Giridhar also integrated Google Places API and Google Places Search API, which communicates with the front-end. In 2016, they joined NeoGrowth Credit Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Development Engineer. Most recently, they have been the Director of Engineering at Hopstack since 2021.

Giridhar Sampathkumar attended Sathyabama University from 2006 to 2010 and obtained a B.Tech degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended St. Michaels Academy from 1996 to 2006.
