Gibson Chikafa has a diverse work experience spanning from 2015 to present. Their most recent position is as a Software Engineer at Hopsworks, where they are involved in building the Hopsworks platform and Feature Store. Prior to that, they held a role as a Research Assistant at KTH High Performance Computing Center, where they worked on implementing a many-core RISC-V processor and adding custom instructions in the GEM5 simulator. Gibson also served as a Teaching Assistant for a Network Programming course at KTH. Before their time at KTH, Gibson worked as a Systems Engineer at LUANAR-Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Gibson Chikafa pursued their education in a chronological manner. Gibson obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Malawi - Chancellor College. This educational journey took place from 2010 to 2015.
