Angela Nguyen

Angela Nguyen has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Angela currently serves as the Vice President of Talent and Culture at Horace Mann. In this role, Angela is responsible for driving the overall talent strategy, designing and integrating talent management solutions, and setting the roadmap for the company's culture.

Prior to joining Horace Mann, Angela worked at the Hospital Sisters Health System, where they held various leadership positions. Angela served as the System Vice President of Talent Management & Colleague Relations, where they led talent acquisition, employee relations, and talent development functions. Angela also played a key role in building strategic partnerships and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

Before their role at Hospital Sisters Health System, Angela worked in several HR positions at Memorial Health, Benchmark Human Services, and Parman Group, Inc. In these roles, they gained experience in areas such as compensation, recruitment, employee training, and labor law education.

Angela Nguyen holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Counselor Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Angela also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from the same institution, as well as an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Psychology from John A. Logan College. Additionally, Angela has obtained several certifications, including the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI, the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM, and the Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR) certification from Lean Human Capital.
