Chifeng Chou

Chifeng Chou began working in 2004 as a Software Engineer at Softwell Technology Co., Ltd. Chifeng then worked as a System Software Engineer at Gemtek Technologies Co. Ltd from 2006 to 2009, where they customized kernel modules and implemented network software on home routers. From 2012 to 2013, Chifeng worked as an Application Engineer at Imagination Technologies. In 2014, they joined Truetel Taiwan as a Software Engineer, where they developed billing and SMS systems for telecoms, designed data ETL and storage pipelines, and integrated third-party GIS tools. Chifeng then worked at Trend Micro from 2015 to 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed an authorization scheme for an MQTT service, developed components for a mail scanning service, and designed data ETL pipelines. Since 2019, they have been working as a Cloud Engineer at Horangi.

Chifeng Chou holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh, which was obtained from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, Chifeng completed a Bachelor's degree in Management Information System from National Central University, from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Chifeng has obtained several certifications including Machine Learning, R Programming, Data Analysis and Statistical Inference, and Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera, in September 2014, July 2014, April 2014, and November 2013 respectively.
