Torstein Mellingen

Torstein Mellingen has had a varied career, beginning in 2005 as a cook apprentice/cook/kitchen manager at Jegermesteren Restaurant and Bar. In 2008, they worked as a cook for both Kongeskipet Norge and Duz Mat og vinhus. In 2009, they took on a 6-month engagement as a cook on Bjørnøya for the Metrologisk Institutt, as well as a steward for Carisma Fish. From 2010 to 2013, they were the furniture manager for Gjensidige during the summer months, and from 2013 to 2018 they were a customer advisor for Gjensidige. In 2018, Torstein Mellingen became the Chief Operating Officer and board member of Horde, as well as the Sales Manager for Scandinavia at Innovasea and an administrative seller at Arctic Algae.

Torstein Mellingen's education history includes a Master's degree from the School of Economics and Business at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences in the field of Finans from 2015 to 2017, a Bachelor's degree from Nord University in Export Marketing from 2011 to 2014, a Student from Akademiet in Allmenfagelig Påbygg from 2010 to 2011, and a Fagbrev from Klosterskogen vga in Kokk from 2004 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained certifications including GOS - Sertifisering (Autorisert forsikringsrådgiver) from Gjensidige in 2015, Førerkort BE from Statens Vegvesen in 2012, Dykkersertifikat from Padi in 2010, Sanitetskurs from Forsvaret in 2008, Båtførerbeviset from Norsk Test in 2008, Grunnleggende sikkerhets og beredskapsopplæring (IMO 60) from OLF in 2008, and Bilsertifikat B from Statens Vegvesen in 2006.
