Robert Gilbreath

Robert Gilbreath, Esq. is an experienced legal and wealth management professional with a diverse background in estate planning, trust administration, and business law. Currently serving as Vice President - Sr. Trust Officer / Sr. Wealth Management Advisor at Horizon Bank since August 2020, Robert has held notable positions at Key Private Bank and Fifth Third Private Bank, among others. Prior to their roles in banking, Robert practiced law in various capacities, including as a sole practitioner and attorney at multiple law firms specializing in estate planning, elder law, and business succession planning. Additionally, Robert shared expertise as a visiting professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, teaching Wills, Trusts, and Estates. Robert holds a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University.
