Jackson Yau Saileong

Saileong, Jackson Yau has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Saileong, Jackson is currently working at Horizon Brands as the Vice President, leading several teams such as Product Development, Quality, Operations, and Engineering in the APAC region. Saileong, Jackson'sresponsibilities include overseeing the entire product development process, from ideation to market release and lifecycle management.

Prior to joining Horizon Brands, Saileong worked at Lenovo for a significant part of their career. Saileong, Jackson started in 2005 after the merger with IBM PC Division and held various roles, including Director & Principal Project Manager. During their time at Lenovo, they led a major relocation program, transferring the ThinkPad Accessories Product Development team from the USA to China. Saileong, Jackson also served as the Head of ThinkPad Accessories Product Development team.

Before Lenovo, Saileong worked at IBM as a Hardware Manager and at Interlink Electronics as the China Product Development Center Manager. At Interlink Electronics, they established a development center in China, recruited engineers, and shortened the development cycle by achieving 24 hours of continuous design with the US team.

Earlier in their career, Saileong worked in a managerial role at Lenovo in the Motherboard Business Unit, where they were responsible for project management and validation. Saileong, Jackson also worked at Sumitomo Electric as a Sales Engineer, introducing Japanese equipment and electrical components to the Chinese market. Saileong, Jackson'scareer started as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at HAECO Xiamen.

Saileong, Jackson Yau has a diverse education history. Saileong, Jackson obtained a Bachelor of Physics degree in Semiconductor from Xiamen University between 1990 and 1994. Saileong, Jackson further pursued their education, completing a Master's degree in Enterprise Engineering Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2005 to 2007.

In recent years, Saileong pursued executive education, specializing in business administration and management. Saileong, Jackson completed an Executive MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 2018-2019. Additionally, they attended the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program during the same period, receiving a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive Master Business Administration.
