Joe Smith has a diverse work experience in talent acquisition and recruiting. Joe most recently worked as an Engineering Sourcer - Recruiter at Horizon Controls Group starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Talent Acquisition Recruiter for 5G, RAN, and O-RAN at Dell Technologies from June 2022 to December 2022. In this role, they successfully filled 12 full-time requisitions for the 5G teams in Ottawa.

In addition to their talent acquisition experience, Joe has worked as a Graduate Career Counselor at Northeastern University, a Career Counselor at Northeastern University and the University of Rhode Island, and an Adjunct Faculty/Career Counselor in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Rhode Island College of Business Administration. In these roles, they provided career counseling and guidance to students, conducted workshops, and assisted with job search strategies.

Joe Smith's education history includes several certifications and degrees in various fields. In 1983, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Science and Services from the University of Rhode Island. In 1993, they furthered their education by earning a Master's degree in the Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University.

In recent years, Joe has pursued certifications to enhance their career development skills. In 2014, they obtained a certification in Job and Career Transition Coaching from the Career Planning and Adult Development Network. The following year, in 2015, they completed the Global Career Development Facilitator Training program offered by The National Career Development Association (NCDA).

Additionally, Joe has obtained several other certifications. In 2019, they completed the HRTX Boston 2019 program by the RecruitingDaily organization, and they also obtained the Korn Ferry - KFLA certification in Leadership Architect Competency Enablement from The Sourcing Institute Foundation.
