Jonathan Kay

Jonathan Kay is an experienced change manager and director with a strong background in leading organizations through significant transformations, primarily in the energy sector. Currently holding director positions at Horizon Energy Group Limited, Counties Energy, WHITESTONE CONTRACTING LIMITED, NETWORK WAITAKI LIMITED, and Lone Wolf Enterprises, as well as serving as chair at Waipa Networks, Jonathan focuses on value innovation, customer-led change, and the commercialization of new technologies. Previous roles include chairing Next Idea, a technology company recognized for its Home Energy Management System, and serving as general manager at Unison Networks Ltd and Landis + Gyr, where responsibilities included strategy development and market execution. Jonathan holds a DipBus in Marketing and Finance, as well as degrees in Chemical Engineering from The University of Auckland.
