Matthew Shapiro

Matthew Shapiro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting, advisory services, and strategic partnerships. Currently serving as Senior Director at Horizon Engage since February 2024, Matthew has been the Founder of MacroTessera Consulting since April 2019, focusing on business development and sales strategies at the intersection of technology, data, and human intelligence. Additionally, Matthew contributes as a Course Leader for Emeritus programs, specializing in data analytics in partnership with the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. Previously, Matthew held significant positions such as Head of Strategic Partnerships at Enquire, Chairman of the Advisory Board at Oxford Analytica, Managing Director of Americas at Predata, and Director of Global Markets at Eurasia Group. Matthew holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from Franklin & Marshall College.
