Virna Acosta

Virna Acosta is an accomplished freelance makeup artist with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Since February 2012, Virna has been with Horizon Group USA, specializing in creating hair and makeup looks for models featured on packaging for consumer "how to" kits sold at Walmart and Target. Additionally, Virna has collaborated with the Women's Sports Foundation to provide makeup for Billie Jean King at various events since February 2009. Other notable roles include serving as a freelance makeup artist and groomer for Jazz Lincoln Center since June 2003 and as the key makeup and hair artist for Dorothy Shi Photography. Virna also founded BeautybyVirna in July 1996 and worked as an online content producer and beauty editor for Urban Box Office from January 1998 to 2000. Virna holds a certification in airbrushing from Leah Shorr.
