Jamel Boyer Msa

Jamel Boyer MSA, MBA, PCI is a seasoned professional in fraud investigations and risk management, currently serving as Manager of Internal Investigations in the Fraud Department at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey since 2014. In this role, Jamel Boyer develops and manages a comprehensive fraud prevention platform and oversees investigations related to cybersecurity, privacy, and asset misappropriation. Prior experience includes positions as Lead Investigator in the Special Investigations Unit at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Supervisor of the Fraud and Irregularities Unit at the NYC Department of Education, and various roles at the New Jersey Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, where investigations included Medicaid fraud and fraudulent claims. Jamel Boyer holds a Master of Science in Accountancy with a focus on Risk Management and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Saint Peter's University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University - Newark.
