Sankar Shrikanth

Sankar Shrikanth has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Sankar is currently the Managing Director & SVP at IDS Medical Systems (idsMED) since March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Group CFO and Company CEO at Sorac Capital Partners Limited and Omni Hospitals Group from January 2013 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for leading the healthcare services business and overseeing financial planning, control, and investor relations.

Before joining Sorac Capital Partners Limited and Omni Hospitals Group, Sankar worked as the Vice President Finance at PT Mitratama Perkasa/ PT Nusa Tambang Pratama from January 2011 to December 2012. Sankar successfully completed a large refinancing transaction and managed multiple stakeholder relationships in the mining contracting services and coal chain infrastructure sectors.

From June 1997 to December 2010, Sankar served as the Head of Indonesian Operations at PT Ludlow Capital. In this role, they managed a portfolio of private equity investments and controlled an Asian investment portfolio of USD 260 million.

Earlier in their career, Sankar worked as a Finance Manager-Marketing Finance at Polysindo Group, Deputy Finance Manager at VST Industries Limited, and Finance Executive at Asian Paints India Limited. Sankar started their career as a Trainee at Procter & Gamble.

Sankar Shrikanth completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree specializing in Finance and Accounting from the University of Mumbai in the years 1981 to 1986. Following this, they pursued further education at the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, during the period 1984 to 1988, gaining a degree in Grad CWA with a field of study in Cost & Management Accounting. Finally, from 1986 to 1989, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, obtaining a degree in Financial Management, Accounting and Taxation.
