Richard Pierznik

Richard Pierznik has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in the areas of network management and medical cost management. Richard served as the Director of Enterprise Medical Cost Programs at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, where they were responsible for developing and executing strategies for building and maintaining relationships with delegates and vendors. Additionally, they managed various provider incentives and value-based payment programs. Prior to this role, Richard was the Vice President of Network Management at Highmark Inc., where they led major negotiations with hospital systems and developed network strategies while also managing medical costs. Richard also held the position of Director at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ, overseeing the state's largest Medicaid network and being accountable for medical cost management. Richard's earlier experience includes working as the Regional Vice President at Coventry Health Care, managing provider network functions and medical costs, and as a Contracting Administrator at Cigna Insurance Services.

Richard Pierznik attended Audubon High School from 1976 to 1982. Richard then pursued their higher education at Rutgers University - Camden where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business between 1982 and 1986.
