Morgan Smith

Morgan Smith, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Portfolio Strategy Group at Horizon Investments®, a position held since September 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Portfolio Strategist and Consulting Portfolio Analyst at the same firm. Prior to Horizon Investments®, Morgan Smith worked at NBT Bank from June 2012 to September 2017, holding positions such as Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager, where management of investments for over 90 accounts with approximately $60 million in assets under management was performed. Additional experience includes assisting the Executive Vice President of Wealth Management with departmental projects and completing a Management Trainee program to gain comprehensive industry knowledge. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from Binghamton University School of Management.
