Chris McCarthy, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in institutional sales and business development. Since October 2014, Chris has served as Managing Director and Head of Institutional Sales at Horizon Kinetics LLC, focusing on endowments, foundations, pensions, OCIOs, sub-advisory, and private banking channels. Prior to this, Chris held the position of Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Global Sub-advisory Sales at Delaware Investments for nearly eleven years. Additional experience includes roles as Vice President of Sales at ExpertPlan and Director of Business Development at American Skandia. Chris earned an MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst.

We are an independently owned and operated investment boutique that adheres to a long-term, contrarian, fundamental value investment philosophy that the founders established 26 years ago at Bankers Trust Company. Horizon Kinetics has over 70 employees and has primary offices in New York City, White Plains, NY and Summit, NJ.
