Josiah Carolina is currently a Graduate Assistant at The National Resource Center on Children and Families of the Incarcerated at Rutgers, Camden, since July 2024. Prior to this role, Josiah has been involved as an intern with Horizons National since June 2021, supporting educators and working with students in mathematics and English language arts. From March 2023 to May 2024, Josiah served as an Equity & Belonging Coach at the American University Antiracist Research & Policy Center. Additional experiences include a Community Coordinator for the American University Experience (AUx) Program and various roles such as Undergraduate Research Assistant, Senior Peer Facilitator, and Resident Assistant at American University. Josiah also completed an internship with the U.S. House of Representatives in early 2020, focusing on constituent services and community outreach. Josiah is pursuing a Master of Arts in Childhood Studies at Rutgers University - Camden, following a Bachelor of Arts in History and an Undergraduate Certificate in Advanced Leadership Studies from American University.
