Playspace Program Rotating Shift Manager at Horizons for Homeless Children

Maggie Shellene is an experienced educator and advocate with a background in various roles within nonprofit and educational organizations. Currently serving as a Teacher with Teach For America since December 2017, Maggie was designated a middle school generalist and is awaiting placement in Dallas, Texas. Past roles include a Legal Intern at DOVE and a Playspace Program Rotating Shift Manager at Horizons for Homeless Children, where services are provided to improve the lives of young homeless children in Massachusetts. Additionally, Maggie has worked as an Office Assistant for both Campus Ministry and Health and Wellness offices at Stonehill College since January 2016, and previously served as an Office Assistant for KIDS FREE TO GROW, focusing on domestic violence education and fundraising. Maggie holds a degree from Stonehill College, completed in 2018.
