Karin Dohm

Karin Dohm has a diverse and extensive work experience. Karin is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at HORNBACH Holding AG & Co. KGaA, where they have responsibilities for Planning & Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Corporate Finance, M&A, and Treasury, among others. Prior to this, they held the role of Member of the Management Board at the same company. Karin has also served as a Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee at Danfoss, where they contributed to solutions for machine productivity, emissions reduction, and energy conservation. Karin was also a Member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee at CECONOMY AG and Vice-Chair of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee at Deutsche EuroShop AG. At Deutsche Bank, Karin held various roles, including Global Head of Government & Regulatory Affairs and Group Structuring, Chief Financial Officer Global Transaction Banking, and Chief Accounting Officer - Head of Group External Reporting. Additionally, they have been involved in advisory and audit roles at Deloitte & Touche, specializing in financial services. Karin has also made contributions as a Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Budget Committee at the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG). Karin has a strong background in finance, compliance, risk management, and regulatory affairs.

Karin Dohm's education history begins in 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Münster. Karin then pursued further education at the Universidad de Zaragoza in 1993 for a brief period, with a specific focus on Economics. Following this, they enrolled at Freie Universität Berlin for the years 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Dipl. Vw. degree in Macroeconomics and Politics. More recently, in 2020, Karin attended IMD for a program on Organizational Leadership.
