John Albrecht

John Albrecht possesses extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch (OICNW) and Able Seaman (Ab) with Seaward Services since May 2017. Prior experience includes the role of Chief Mate at Hornbeck Offshore, a Lt JG Strategic Sealift Officer in the US Navy Reserve, and a Licensed Watch Officer at California State University Maritime Academy. Albrecht previously worked as a Mate/DPO on the DP2 dive support vessel Kelly Ann Candies and held various DPO positions at Otto Candies. Initial maritime training included roles as a Deck Cadet with Seabulk Tankers, Matson, Inc., and Maersk Line Limited. Albrecht holds a degree in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, earned in 2011.
