Pedro Ribeiro

Pedro Ribeiro currently holds the position of 2º Oficial de Máquinas / 3rd Engineer at HORNBECK OFFSHORE® since July 2023. Prior to this, Pedro worked as a 2° Oficial de Máquinas/ 3rd Engineer at OceanPact Serviços Marítimos from March 2019 to July 2023, and as a Praticante/ Cadet Engineer from June 2016 to April 2017. Pedro gained valuable experience in maintenance and operation of equipment for oil recovery at sea, including handling a workboat with hydraulic equipment. Pedro's time as Praticante/ Cadet Engineer involved working on board Brazilian-flagged vessels, gaining experience in engine room and deck equipment maintenance, testing, inspections, and diesel oil transfer operations. Pedro completed their education at Escola de Formação de Oficiais da Marinha Mercante from 2013 to 2015.
