Saava Benjamin Busenze

Assistant Curator Of Musical Collections And Cultures at Horniman Museum and Gardens

Saava Benjamin Busenze is currently the Assistant Curator of Musical Collections and Cultures at Horniman Museum and Gardens where they also serve as the Project Coordinator for the Reclaiming African History Programme. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Descendants, a charity and supplementary school focusing on African/Caribbean history and culture. Their previous roles include Character/Content Research at Kugali Media, Promotional Staff at Grand Cafe, and Cultural Identity Panelist at Elevate 256. They volunteered as a Research Assistant at the Centre of Pan African Thought. Saava Benjamin Busenze holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Brunel University London and studied Communication and Culture at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College.
