Amber Currie has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Amber started their career in 1998 as a Human Resources Coordinator at The Algonquin Hotel. Amber then worked as a Food & Beverage Supervisor at Snow Valley Resort in 1999. In 2000, they became the Group Sales & Special Events Coordinator at Snow Valley Ski Resort. Amber joined the Holiday Inn Barrie Hotel & Conference Centre in 2009, where they held several roles including Catering Coordinator, Human Resources Manager, and Conference Manager. In 2015, they transitioned to Horseshoe Resort, where they have worked as a Corporate Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Sales.
Amber Currie attended Georgian College from 1996 to 1998, where they pursued a degree in Tourism Management. Their field of study was focused on Tourism and Travel Services Management.
