Marc Weimer-Hablitzel

Marc Weimer-Hablitzel is the CEO of Hortiya since June 2020, where the focus is on utilizing AI to allow plants to manage their environments. In addition to this role, Weimer-Hablitzel has served as a guest lecturer in Data Thinking at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management since September 2018. Prior to these positions, Weimer-Hablitzel led the Data & AI Innovation Unit at etventure, advising CEOs on machine learning strategies and managing digital innovation projects. Additional experience includes leading the Data Hub Ruhr program to promote industry data startups, and holding various managerial and entrepreneurial positions in technology and media sectors, including founding Keetz.com and working at eBay as a Data Mining Specialist.
