Miles Cowan

Miles is another example of Horwich Farrelly's commitment to recognizing and rewarding talent. After joining Horwich Farrelly in 2007 as a paralegal, he completed his training contract and qualified into the Counter Fraud department in March 2010. In 2016 he was made partner. He now heads up a team of specialist lawyers focusing on defending LSI, late notified and general motor fraud claims. He has overseen a number of notable results including Nolan v Shields (2015), the first finding of fundamental dishonesty following a mini-trial after the claimant had discontinued his claim. Miles also spends considerable time training clients and developing counter fraud strategies.
