HMB Legal Counsel
Alan Leib is a Partner at Horwood Marcus & Berk, where since October 2006, Alan has chaired the Food and Beverage Industry Practice Group and provided legal counsel on complex commercial agreements and mergers and acquisitions. Prior experience includes serving as Of Counsel at McDonald Hopkins LLC, where Alan led corporate transactions and advised on business structuring. As President and General Counsel at STATS LLC, Alan developed the company's legal department and managed legal affairs, finance, and HR functions. Alan's earlier roles include Partner at Deutsch Levy & Engel and Associate at Horwood Marcus & Berk, with a focus on commercial agreements and M&A transactions. Alan holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where a B.S. in Accounting was also completed.
