Yeran Wang

Yeran Wang has a diverse work experience. They started working at TD as a Customer Experience Associate in 2022. Before that, Yeran was self-employed as a Private Tutor since 2017. In 2020, Yeran served as a National Youth Ambassador at Global Vision, where they gained leadership and entrepreneurial skills and engaged with leaders from various sectors. Yeran also held the position of Chapter President at HOSA Canada, where they facilitated science-related opportunities for students. In 2020, they worked as an Assistant at Kumon Canada Inc. Yeran also worked as a Student Assistant at The Ottawa Hospital in 2021 and 2020 through a cooperative education program, where they gained experience in various departments.

Yeran Wang has an education history that includes various degrees and certifications. They obtained their Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Physics-Mathematics from the University of Ottawa, with a completion date of 2027. Prior to this, Yeran Wang pursued an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in BIM Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa, starting in 2020 and finishing in 2024. They also completed a short-term non-degree program in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Ottawa in 2020.

Before attending university, Yeran Wang completed their high school education at St. Mother Teresa High School, where they received a High School Diploma with a specialization in Health and Wellness through the Specialist High Skills Major program. This diploma was obtained between the years 2015 and 2020.

In addition to their academic degrees, Yeran Wang has obtained several certifications. They secured a certification in Psychological First Aid from the Canadian Red Cross in June 2021. In July 2020, Yeran Wang acquired a Social Leadership Certification from Global Vision. They also obtained certifications in AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) from AODA Online and in WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) from Virtual WHMIS, both in February 2020. Furthermore, Yeran Wang completed training in Infection Control at the Ottawa Paramedic Service Headquarters in December 2019. They also received Wilderness and Marine First Aid, Survival, and Crisis Management training from the WSC Wilderness Survival School in October 2019. Moreover, Yeran Wang acquired a Worker Health and Safety Certification from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in September 2019. Lastly, they obtained their Standard First Aid, CPR-C + AED certification from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean in September 2019.
